Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer, and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she acted on Broadway throughout a range of shows up until the year of 1957 in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. She also released her first album of music, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive hit and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she was offered her next notable role when CBS signed her to portray Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career with ease in between Broadway TV and Hollywood performing somber characters contrasted to her perception of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's been a renowned director of popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for both her teenage and adult years. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
