Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. Her albums span over 20 years. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. Ani Difranco has been deemed as a feminist icon and a Grammy award winner. As one of early female musicians in the 90s, she founded her own label. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September, 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. In 2013 DiFranco apologised after it was announced that she planned to host the three-day event at the former Louisiana slave plantation.
